40th Annual Minneapolis Boat Show
January 19th - 22nd, Minneapolis Convention Center
The 2012 Minneapolis Boat Show is fast approaching. We are very excited to be back at the convention center this year! President Dick Mickelson and others have gone to great efforts to plan a great display. We will have varnished wooden boats, classic wooden sailboats, classic fiberglass boats, outboard motors and the Minnehaha boat display. We are also proud to partner with Urban Boat Builders and have them be a part of our display.
However, we need YOU to step up and help offer your time at the display. We need volunteers to assist in setting up prior to the show opening and for tear down after the show as well as during the show. This is a wonderful opportunity to get involved with your club. What is the incentive? If you commit to a minimum of 4 hours time you will get a free entry ticket into the show. You can arrive prior to your shift or stay afterwards to wander the rest of the show and view all the new watercraft and marine items. You do not need to be an expert on boats or their history, we just need your smiling face and great attitude! Below are the show times.
Thursday, January 19 ....12pm–9pm
Friday, January 20 .........12pm–9pm
Saturday, January 21 .....10am–9pm
Sunday, January 22 .......10am–5pm
